ELMG is seeking a new trustee

Trustee required

East London Music Group is seeking a trustee to join it’s board.

ELMG has been established for two years and exists to present professional performances and educational events in East London.

It has had recent successful collaborations with Queen Mary University of London and several primary schools in Tower Hamlets. Future plans include an education project with Waltham Forest Music Service.

ELMG has given performances of Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale, and Walton’s Façade. The group has also commissioned two new works with East London themes and has focused on music with a theatrical element, often working with actors.

The position

We are seeking an enthusiastic new trustee who is passionate about music and the arts, ideally with experience in fund-raising.

The principal requirements of the role are attending committee meetings approximately 6 times per year and advising the Artistic Director on fundraising matters.

The trustee will also be encouraged to offer advice on ELMG’s project planning and development ideas, and all other aspects of it’s operation.

Interested individuals should get in touch with Morgan Hollis, ELMG chair of trustees, on info@eastlondonmusicgroup.co.uk.
