The Soldier’s Tale is a witty and sardonic Faustian story of a young soldier who gives his violin to the Devil in exchange for untold wealth. This new production, directed by Joseph Hardy, features recent graduates of Drama Studio London and London Contemporary Dance School, as well as some of the most outstanding young professional musicians in London.
The first half of the concert will explore the works of some composers who were influential to Stravinsky in his early years, and will feature tenor Nick Hardy and pianist Aaron Burrows.
Tickets are priced at £10/£5 and are available on the door or online in advance. All proceeds from this concert will go to Sarah's Rural Library Fund (charity no. 1144970).
